Job Summary:
Gas Repair Utility Foreman will report directly to their RDR Division Manager.
Job Duties:
- Supervise, instructs, operates and participates in the construction and repair of gas utility lines as well as all fittings and required appurtenances.
- Must have general knowledge of installation, testing, and restoration procedures.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to natural gas construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Supervise, schedule, coordinate daily work with superintendent.
- Communicate effectively with Superintendent and customer and work through issues.
- Train and mentor crew members and ensure productivity is met or exceeded.
- Maintain accurate job records including daily reports, material usage, and project logs.
- Keep safety as a top priority with a focus on efficiency and production with job costs in mind.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas utility construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL highly preferred.
- OQ (Operator Qualification) certification required or ability to obtain.
- Willing to travel anywhere OH and WV.
